C. SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL VOUCHER PROGRAM (External) – is a program under the Government Assistance to Students and Teachers in Private Education (GASTPE) wherein financial assistance (in the form of tuition subsidies) is extended to qualified public and private Grade 10 completers enabling them to enroll for SHS – Grades 11 and 12 – in private and non-DepEd public schools. It is jointly implemented by the Department of Education and the Fund for Assistance to Private Education (FAPE).
Note: The difference between the voucher and SSAM's total school fees is shouldered by the qualified voucher recipient.
REQUIREMENTS
• ESC Certificate – for Grade 10 completer who was an ESC grantee in a private JHS
• Qualified Voucher Applicant (QVA) Certificate – for Grade 10 completer from a private school, not an ESC grantee,
applied for SHS VP and was approved
• Report card bearing a Learner reference Number - Grade 10 completer from a public school / SUC/LUC JHS
CONDITIONS FOR MAINTAINING THE GRANT:
The recipient is expected to:
• attend the Voucher orientation;
• abide by the rules and regulations of the school;
• comply with the school requirements and try to finish the course for each school year with seriousness and dedication;
• consult the school authorities on problems relative to the fulfillment of the terms of the contract.
The parents are expected to:
• attend the Voucher orientation;
• attend/participate in school activities;
• abide by the rules and regulations of the school;
• assist their children/ward to finish the course at every grade level;
• help their children/ward to prevent truancy and/or absenteeism.

The voucher amount in NCR:
ESC Completer - PHP 18, 000.00
Qualified Voucher Recipient - PHP 18, 000.00
Grade 10 Completer from Public School/ SUC/LUC - PHP 22,500.00
COMMITTEES
SSAM JHS and SHS Academic Scholarships are composed of the Registrar, JHS High School Principal, and JHS Academic
Coordinator, and are subject to the approval of the Directress.
SSAM SHS Entrance Scholarship is composed of the Registrar, SHS High School Principal, SHS Academic Coordinator, and
Head of the Student Development Center, and is subject to the approval of the Directress.
The committee for SSAM Financial Assistance is composed of the School Treasurer, Grade School Principal, High School
Principal, Head of the Student Development Center, and Registrar and is subject to the approval of the Directress.
The Education Service Contracting Screening/School Committee is chaired by the High School, Principal and assisted by
the Registrar, the President of the Faculty Association, and a representative from the faculty who is attending the meetings
of the Parent-Teacher Association.
Note:
1. Applications are processed on a first-come-first-served basis.
2. Application forms are available at the Registrar's Office. The application form and other documents
must be submitted before the deadline set.
3. A student can only avail of one type of scholarship at a time.
4. A background investigation may be conducted as an additional requirement.
5. SSAM is under no obligation to grant scholarships or financial assistance to any student.
