Directions, policies and regulations discussed

Students convened at the Sister Irmengardis Hall for a two-hour orientation about the school directions, policies and regulations last June 7 and 8, 2012.

Directress Sister Angelica Leviste, OSB narrated the humble beginning of SSAM, and how i t has progressed through time. Sister Angelica likewise compared the structure of the school to a large ship; SSAM is on a voyage with Christ as our captain leading us to our destination.

"We praise and love God, serve our neighbors and thereby attain everlasting life," Sister Angelica was quoted through her PowerPoint presentation.

The Scholasticans were reminded about servant leadership, care for the environment and love.
Newly appointed Academic Coordinator Ms. Anunciacion Gabor and Student Formation Coordinator Mrs. Valerie Calderon explained the policies, rules and regulations as stated in the revised Student Handbook. It also included the academic and deportment grading system.

Student Activities Coordinator Mrs. Sheryl Cinco talked about grading system in extra and co-curricular activities while Head Librarian Mrs. Evangelina Orga discussed library policies and encouraged the students and professionals to develop passion for reading.

Campus Minister Sister Rose Ann Leonardo, OSB shared her knowledge about spiritual development, and how the Scholasticans can fulfill this school year's focus, "Servant leaders, Save the earth, Accept and respect one another in love".
