Grade Two Students Support the Pintung Bukawe Farmers

Class presidents of the Grade 2 level brought the collected newspapers to the Tuason Center last August 2. These were to be used by farmers of Pintung Bukawe, the school’s adopted community, to wrap their merchandize. They come to SSAM every Friday from 9 o’clock in the morning to sell their fresh farm produce. Employees, students, parents and people living around the school’s vicinity look forward to buying fruits, vegetables and kakanin.

The newspaper drive is the grade two level’s response to the call of taking care of the environment and also the people who need their help.
